New Year’s, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day (The only day courses close is Christmas Day. Full-time employees receive holiday pay along with their hourly rate for any hours worked on a holiday.)
The pay period runs from Wednesday to the 2nd Tuesday. All employees are paid every other Friday.
This depends on your home course and position. All maintenance employees are allotted a 30-minute lunch break that is automatically deducted from their time. Your supervisor will go over your lunch breaks with you.
All positions have a pay range. Employees are paid within that pay range based on qualifications, experience and quality of work.
FGI expects you to perform your job duties to the best of your ability, show up for work on time, be reliable, and be a team player. Your supervisor will go over your expectations with you.
Many positions provide on-the-job training. Some positions do require specialized training. FGI offers several training programs to help employees grow within the company.
If the rain is impacting your ability to work your shift, your manager will let you know. Plan on working unless your manager tells you otherwise.

Vacation, PTO and Safety PTO can all be requested in the Paycom App by selecting “Time Off Requests”, select the type of time off and the date, then submit request.
Yes, there are many opportunities for advancement at FGI. We pride ourselves on promoting from within when at all possible. We also offer several apprenticeship programs and in-house training programs to help employees grow.
FGI utilizes a pay range system for all positions. Managers determine the rate of pay based on this pay range, the employee’s qualifications, education, experience and quality of work. All employees will receive an Annual Review and may receive a raise at that time.
Full-time employees can schedule after 10:00 am the day before play. Part-time employees can schedule after 3:00 pm the day before play.

Full-time employees are eligible for benefits the first of the month after 60 days of employment. New hires must enroll within the first 45 days of employment. Open Enrollment is typically in November and December each year.
The dress code varies by department:
Food and Beverage: Collared logo shirt with name tag, shorts/pants/skort and slip resistant shoes. Unless otherwise specified by course management.
Golf Shop: Collared logo shirt with name tag, slacks and close toed shoes. Unless otherwise specified by course management.
Outside Operations: Collared logo shirt with name tag, golf hat with logo, golf shorts or slacks. Unless otherwise specified by course management.
Maintenance: Full-time employees will be issued a uniform. Part-time employees should wear a collared shirt, shorts/pants and boots/shoes with good tread. Unless otherwise specified by course management.
