On his days off he plays golf here and will keep you updated as to the player conditions of the course good and bad. He can operate any piece of equipment and do any assignment asked on the course. Dave will often stay late or come in early to get special projects done on the course. He even helps at the clubhouse taking out garbage, aluminum for recycling, and taking out the old oil from the kitchen. His commitment to Burning Ridge Golf Club both inside and outside is unparallel.

River Hills
Dan came to us in 2025 from Grande Dunes when he completed his culinary schooling at the International Culinary School. Dan has been a key force in elevating the food and beverage department at River Hills. He has gotten weekly Thursday happy hours going with different menus EVERY WEEK building attendance from less than 20 to over 50! Dan’s event menus are always received with oo’s and ah’s from our members and guests alike. We are building up our banquet department, again, with invaluable help from Dan.
An employee of the quarter should always be willing to help out when and where they can, and always willing to share a smile and some small talk. That is Dan in a nutshell. Without Dan we wouldn’t have gotten our F&B Department of the year for 2025! Thank you, Dan , for everything you do, and continue to do for River Hills!

All the work he has done here at Tradition since I started as the Superintendent here has been nothing short of amazing. Through his work and everyone who has worked with him, he has truly changed the look of this golf course.
